The program provides an applied view of the fundamentals of computer architecture and its use in industrial environments, highlighting opportunities in cost optimization and technological independence.

With a hands-on approach, participants will work with real tools from the RISC-V ecosystem to compile, run, and debug programs, as well as emulate and simulate systems using professional environments such as gem5. This approach allows understanding the role of RISC-V in areas such as embedded systems, edge computing, HPC, and system-on-chip (SoC) design.

As a differential element, the microcredential connects the theoretical foundations with the industrial reality of processor design, introducing concepts of design and integration of RISC-V-based systems. Through practical activities and a final project, participants will acquire technical criteria to evaluate and select processor configurations according to different use cases.

This training is aimed at computer, electronics, telecommunications and IT engineers, as well as ICT professionals, low-level software developers and researchers interested in computer architecture, embedded systems and SoC design.

Access here for more information.

You can now apply for admission to the Microcredential in RISC-V: from Theory to Industry.
