What is Sidecar?

From the Sidecar project of the CHIP Chair of the UPC, we work to awaken scientific and technological vocations and attract young talent towards electronics, semiconductors and microelectronic design , making it easier for students to learn about and consider STEM studies at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.

The project promotes the development of innovative educational materials, learning situations, workshops, practices and other training resources that contribute to making these technologies more accessible and to strengthening interest in STEM disciplines. Sidecar places special emphasis on the participation of girls and practical learning, promoting motivating experiences connected to current technological challenges.

To expand the scope of these initiatives, the project also collaborates with educational centers and other agents in the educational ecosystem in the development of activities aimed at students and teachers.
