What is Sidecar?

From the Sidecar project of the CHIP Chair at the UPC, we work to awaken scientific and technological vocations and attract young talent to electronics, semiconductors and microelectronic design, making it easier for students to learn about and consider STEM studies at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.

Through the creation of innovative educational materials, learning situations, workshops, internships and training activities aimed at secondary school students, high school students, vocational training and teachers, the project builds an educational network to address the lack of technological educators.

Sidecar places special emphasis on the participation of girls and practical learning, with the aim of bringing a key technology for the future to young people in an accessible, motivating and connected way with social impact.
