UE Projects

"In line with the activities of the Cátedra Chip UPC, there is active participation in two highly relevant EU projects. Green Chips is focused on the development of low-power consumption and sustainability technologies, while EUMaster4HP promotes European collaboration in high-performance computing education."

GREEN CHIPS

During the period 2023-2028, the CHIP UPC Chair will actively participate in the EU project "Green Chips," which aims to assess the training needs in microelectronic design, develop undergraduate and master's programs focused on energy efficiency, and coordinate equipment and teaching methodologies among participating universities.

EUMaster4HP

This project falls within the Training and Education on High Performance Computing program and promotes European collaboration in high-performance teaching, with an innovative approach that includes co-teaching and cooperative content development. This program, led by a consortium of prominent European universities, includes a specialization in computer architecture and design for supercomputers, integrated into the curriculum of the MIRI master's program at UPC.
