Second edition of the microcredentials in microelectronics and semiconductors: new call for autumn 2026

Following the successful first edition held in the spring of 2026, this fall the offer of four microcredentials specialized in microelectronics, computer architecture and advanced digital systems returns. These programs offer practical and high-level training to respond to the growing demand for qualified professionals in a strategic sector for digital transformation and the semiconductor industry.

The four microcredentials allow you to acquire specific skills in key areas such as the RISC-V open architecture, hardware security, digital signal processing and the semiconductor industry from a strategic perspective.

Microcredential in Hardware Security in Embedded Systems

Dates: September 28 to October 8, 2026

This microcredential provides the knowledge necessary to identify physical vulnerabilities in embedded systems and apply protection techniques against hardware attacks. The program addresses the fundamentals of integrated circuits, side-channel attacks, fault injection, and the main security primitives, combining theory and practice to prepare participants for the design of more secure electronic systems.

Microcredential in RISC-V: from Theory to Industry

Dates: from October 5 to November 12, 2026

This program offers an applied introduction to the open RISC-V architecture, one of the technologies with the greatest projection in the development of processors and digital systems. Students will work with professional tools to compile, simulate and validate RISC-V systems, while delving into SoC design and the industrial applications of this architecture in areas such as embedded systems, edge computing or high-performance computing.

Microcredential in Custom Digital Signal Processing Systems

Dates: from November 23 to 27, 2026

This training focuses on the design and implementation of digital signal processing (DSP) systems on programmable hardware. Participants will learn the fundamentals of DSP and work with techniques such as FIR and CIC filters, the CORDIC algorithm, DFT and FFT transforms and the implementation of accelerators on FPGAs, acquiring an applied vision aligned with the needs of the advanced electronics industry.
