This module combines the theoretical knowledge of different measurement methods to calculate height with different electronic ultrasound measurement systems and sensors. This module aims to simulate the typical patient height measurement system using simple simulation resources such as Tinkercad or Arduino.

Learning situation: Biomedical measurement systems
“Biomedical Measurement Systems” combines theoretical and practical knowledge of electronics with measurement materials and medical skills. This learning situation guides ESO students through different modules and small projects focused on the field of medicine. Students will design and assemble a series of circuits to control and measure different biomedical signals using both electronic components and simulators such as tinkercad.
