Microcredential in Integrated Systems Design
You can now apply for admission to the Microcredential in Integrated Systems Design . This intensive training, which will be taught at the U PC – Campus Nord in Barcelona from June 8 to 12, 2026 , offers a key specialization in the design of complex electronic systems, in a context where the integration between hardware and software is increasingly critical.
The course provides an applied view of hardware/software co-design, addressing how integrated systems are built from the interaction between microprocessors, hardware components and specialized accelerators. This approach is fundamental in areas such as IoT, intelligent automotive, embedded systems or high-performance computing.
Throughout the program, participants will analyze the main communication protocols used in electronic systems, both serial protocols and On-Chip and Off-Chip communication buses, as well as the most efficient methods for their implementation. They will also work on the design of hardware/software interfaces and the development of components capable of communicating with microprocessors using standard protocols.
As a differential element, the microcredential combines theoretical foundations with a strong practical orientation, allowing participants to design and implement efficient communication interfaces between hardware and software. Through applied activities, they will acquire a comprehensive vision of the development of complex electronic systems aligned with the current needs of the industry.
This training is aimed at professionals, recent graduates or electronic engineering students with previous experience in electronic systems design. Registration does not guarantee admission, as all applications will be assessed in a selection process, with a decision made by May 27, 2026.
